HEIDI TEUSCHER

Heidi Teuscher is an abstract painter whose work is shaped by a life lived between contrasting landscapes, from California’s Sierra foothills to New York City and the Catskill Mountains.

Influenced by West Coast light, East Coast seasons, urban energy, and the music that fills her Catskill studio, her paintings explore mood and movement through color, texture, and gesture rather than representation. After working across music, acting, and photography, Teuscher found abstraction to be her primary language while studying at the Woodstock School of Art under Jenny Nelson. She is currently a member of the Art Students League of New York, studying with internationally exhibited abstract painter Frank O’Cain.

Her work has been exhibited in Woodstock and New York City and is held in private collections in California and New York.
